TURMERIC AND SESAME TOFU BITES

INGREDIENTS

  • 160 Gram firm tofu (cut into small cubes)

  • 4 ml olive oil

  • 1 tsp. turmeric

  • 5 Gram sesame seed

  • 8 Gram tahini

  • pinch Himalayan salt

  • pinch pepper

  • 10ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed


METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Add tofu, lemon juice, olive oil, turmeric and sesame seeds to a bowl and toss until well combined. Place on the lined tray and season with salt and pepper. Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes, turning halfway.

  3. Remove from the oven and divide into two portions. Drizzle both with tahini.

  4. Serve one portion as a snack and refrigerate remaining portion for tomorrow’s leftovers.
